In most cases, acid washing your pool or spa will brighten and refresh the pools or spas’ surface. However, acid and chlorine washing of a pool or spa is for cosmetic purposes only. Twelve Pool Service, LLC will make every effort to remove as much staining and discoloration as possible. However, we cannot guarantee this process will remove all stains or discoloration of the existing pool surface due to the length of time that stains may have set.

Twelve Pool Service, LLC will not be responsible for a pool or spas’ surface if it happens to crack, blister, peel, or chip, or for any other condition that may occur as a result of draining or acid washing of a pool or spa. Under certain conditions beyond our control, some of the aforementioned conditions may occur. This may be caused by, but may not be limited to, an imbalance of chemicals, deterioration of a pool or spas’ surface due to age, or improper upkeep prior to draining. Because of this, draining and acid washing of your pool or spa is at a pool or spa owners own risk.

Due to rising temperatures, we discourage the draining of your pool or spa as the season nears summer. Draining of a pool or spa during the summer temperature drastically increases the likelihood of the pool or spa surface to crack and/or chip.
